The Peanut Vendors Terms & Conditions

The Peanut Vendor is a shop that sells mid-century furniture and homeware.  Due to the nature of our business pretty much all of our stock has been used in a former life and is either restored or has been preserved in a saleable condition.  Please be aware that as these lovely pieces have lived former lives they will be subject to signs of aging and general wear, this is also reflected in our prices.

Prices, Payments & Delivery

All our listings are priced in GBP pounds sterling.

When purchasing from the site we accept payment via Paypal and the following credit/debit cards: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, Maestro, Delta, American Express, Switch, Solo and Direct Debit.  You can also make payment via a bank transfer or if you live within the UK you can always send a cheque to The Peanut Vendor, 133 Newington Green Road, N1 4RA.  Cheques tend to take 3 working days to clear so we would need to wait until these have cleared before we can send or deliver you your goods.

Our prices do not include a delivery charge but we do deliver to mainland UK and can arrange courier services outside the UK.  Please contact us via e-mail or telephone for quotes.  Please note that overseas customers may incur import duties and taxes, which will be paid by the purchaser.

If the item arrives damaged then it must be photographed on delivery and e-mailed to us within 48 hours.  You must hold on to all original wrapping for the process to be completed successfully but we will fully refund you and then kick some serious courier ass.

Returns Policy

We offer a full refund, excluding shipping, to any item you wish to return within 48 hours of purchasing.  Any additional postal, shipping or courier costs will be at the buyer's expense and must be returned within 14 days of purchase.

Privacy & Security

We respect your privacy rights.  Right on.  Any records on our customers are securely stored and are strictly private and confidential.  Your e-mails and payment details are locked safely in our secure database and never get passed on to any third party organisations.
