18th Century Rustic Pyrenees Cabinet

A rustic cabinet from 18th century France without its doors which serves now as a great looking bookcase. The cabinet is made from solid thick hand sawn panels of wood and is held together by large hand made iron nails. It retains its old door latches for interest. Hailing from the Pyrenees's it would likely have been made by a shepherd rather than a furniture maker, which explains its characterful look. It's absolutely solid and extremely heavy.
